Bagnoregio and Civita

The Maurizia Cavone farmhouse is located in the area of Bagnoregio
a stone's throw from Civita: the dying city, this is what it is called because
it is perched on a tufa ridge covered with a layer of clay which is subject to
continuous erosion, linked to Bagnoregio by a narrow bridge, located
inside the picturesque Valle dei Calanchi.

The hilly landscape of vineyards and olive groves higher Tuscia Laziale,
once the heart of ancient Etruria, is nestled between the regions of
Tuscany and Umbria.
The territory through which the River Tiber flows is a short distance from
Lake Bolsena, Orvieto and Viterbo.
The farmhouse is well connected to historical cities like Rome, Florence,
Perugia, Siena, Spoleto, Todi and Tarquinia.
